We Participated in Eighth Energy Efficiency Forum and Fair

Based on coming into force of the Turkish Energy Efficiency Law in the year of 2007, every year, the second week of January  is  celebrated as Energy Efficiency  throughout our country to make the energy efficiency movement widespread. In this regard,  Drs. Nurdan YILDIRIM OZCAN and Arif HEPBASLI from the department of Energy Systems Engineering along with Dr. Hacer SEKERCI from the department of Electrical-Electronics Engineering attended the eighth energy efficiency forum and fair. This event was held at the WOW Convention Center, Yesilkoy, Istanbul, Turkey between 11-12 January 2017.

At the exhibition stand, we demonstrated our study activities on energy efficiency and management implemented in our university to exhibitors (Please note that to the best of our  knowledge, our university  achieved  TS EN ISO 50001:2011 Energy Management System Standard Certification as the first and only university in our country).

Dr. Hepbasli moderated a session, in which he also orally presented his study entitled “Criteria for Determination of Energy Planning Process Outputs within the Framework of Energy Management System Standard”.
