Ecoshopping Project Kick-off Meeting Held in Budapest
The kick-off meeting of our ECOSHOPPING project was held on September 16-17, 2013 in Budapest, Hungary. Dr. Hepbasli and Dr. Ekren have attended the meeting, and discussed the contributions of the Energy Systems Engineering Department-Yasar University to the project goals. The project is being executed by a consortium of 16 partners, and is funded by the European Commission under the 7th Framework Programme. ECOSHOPPING project aims to build a retrofitting solution for commercial buildings to reduce primary energy consumption down to less than 80 kWh/m2 per year and increase the share of renewable energy systems more than 50% compared to the state of the art.
