Fifth Meeting of the ECOSHOPPING Project Held in Vienna

The fifth meeting of the EcoShopping project was held in Vienna, Austria on September 17-18, 2015.  Dr. Arif Hepbasli participated in the meeting as a representative of the Yasar University project team consisting of  a total of 3 investigators, Drs. Orhan Ekren, Emrah Biyik and Arif Hepbasli. In the first day of the meeting, the project coordinator, Enrique Grosser, began by welcoming all the participants and  underlined the focus points of  the next 12 months.  Every partner delivered an oral presentation on the recent progress and future plans of the work package. In the second day, an “Exploitation Strategy Seminar (ESS)”, which  is a brainstorming seminar to identify the risks and potential obstacles for exploitation and analyze  how to address them effectively, was given by the ESS Expert Lars Iversen. In this regard, three group work activities  were implemented towards an effective exploitation strategy. All the participants also had an opportunity to visit the research facilities of Austrian Institute of Technology (http://www.ait.ac.at/), where the meeting took place.
